It was interesting to discover how detail-oriented a surgeon can be. It created a partnership rooted in excellence, which impacted the final outcomes.

WHY?

REDUCE COSTS: Dr. Williams’ was paying $2,000 a year for maintenance with an agency.

HOW DO WE STAND-OUT?

ANALYZING OTHER SURGEON WEBSITES

"Users spend most of their time on other sites. This means that users prefer your site to work the same way as all the other sites they already know." - Jakob's Law

MUST-AVOID

  • Information overload.

  • Heavy reliance on experience & credentials, rather than a conversational experience.

  • No differentiators.

MUST-DO

  • Relatable & Credible Tone

  • Clarity & Readability

  • High-Quality Imagery

PART 2

PAIN-POINTS

Identifying the pain-points on the current website experience.

INCONSISTENCIES & CLUTTER

The amount of clutter can increase the amount of information overload for a user, distracting them from focusing on clear actions or journeys.

MUTLIPLE CONTACT OPTIONS

The user should have a clear understanding on their options, whether it be a simple contact or booking an appointment.

NON-DESCRIPTIVE MEDIA

Providing a supplemental description of the video can offer a sneak peek of the video, helping users select what's relevant or give them an opportunity to watch at a time that works best.

NO PATIENT-CONNECTION, JUST A WALL OF TEXT

Connecting the patient to the testimonial makes it personable. Users who can see themselves in those stories will resonate.

PART 3

UX TREATMENT

SITEMAPPING

Creating the site-map allows us to visualize all content & pages. It also gives us an opportunity to prioritize the content that is a must vs. nice to have.
